    What is the delivery time for bike bags and other products?
    The delivery time for an order from stock is generally two weeks. For a customised bag or cargo bike tent, this can vary from two to four weeks, with some exceptions. The reCYCLEd and Ferrari products also have a longer delivery time. Cycle bags with your own logo or image have a delivery time of three to five weeks.
    An order will only be sent once the invoice has been paid.
    Do you also ship bike bags and other products outside the Netherlands?
    Yes, we ship within and outside Europe. The rates are shown in the shopping cart before you finalise your order.
    What colours can we supply?

    You can now also choose the "colours" reCYCLEd and Matt Black.
    Which payment methods are available?
    In the Netherlands, you can pay free of charge via IDEAL. Outside the Netherlands, you can pay via PayPal, which is a credit card system. You do not need to have a PayPal account, but you do need a credit card. If you wish to collect your order from our shop or have it collected by a third party, you can pay by debit card or cash. You can, of course, also pay in advance via IDEAL or PayPal. If you do not wish to pay for your order immediately, you can transfer the amount due to our account number within two weeks, stating the name of the person who placed the order and the order number at the top left of the invoice. For payments from a foreign bank account, you must use the IBAN and/or BIC/SWIFT codes.
    Can I receive an invoice with reverse-charged VAT?
    Yes, it is possible to receive such an invoice. When you have placed your order, please indicate in the ‘comments’ section of the shopping cart that you would like to receive an invoice with the VAT reversed. Please also include the invoice address and your VAT number.
    Then tick the option to pay by invoice in the payment options. We will send you the adjusted invoice after you have placed your order.
    E-bikes, battery-powered bicycles and bike bags
    We can make a bicycle bag for almost all battery/electric bikes. If there is a small space between the luggage carrier and the battery, one of our bicycle bags can be fitted. The bags are attached with strong, high-quality Velcro.
    The XL Electric is not suitable for every e-bike. The bag is 10 centimetres higher than a standard bag and is suitable for bicycles with a high battery on the luggage rack.

    Do Clarijs bike bags and other products come with a warranty?
    If a manufacturing defect is found within six weeks, you may return the product after consulting with Clarijs. We will ensure that the product is repaired and returned to you as soon as possible. We will cover the costs of shipping. Clarijs also offers a three-year warranty on products that have been used normally. This applies to the strap, the stitching and the fabric on the inside of the bicycle bag (the part that hangs against the rear wheel). After consulting with us by telephone, you can return the product, enclosing a note with the requested repair and your name and address details. We will return the product as soon as possible. The costs for such repairs are the one-off shipping costs. If you have lost a buckle, please send us an email with your address details and we will send you a new one as soon as possible. We are happy to repair products that are older than three years, but there will be a charge for this. You can request information about this by sending an email to info@clarijscovers.com.
    What is the difference between a Bobike- and a GMG child seat, and which bike bag do I need?
    A Bobike seat is attached to the seat post and a GMG child seat is clamped onto the luggage carrier. For the GMG, you always need a square cut-out in the middle of the bike bag. See additional options for bike bags.

    How can I continue to use my bike straps with bike bags?
    You can select the option "Incisions for using bike straps" under extras. The Center cut-out in the middle of the luggage carrier section is also an option for this.
    How long should my luggage carrier be?
    Measure the length and width of your luggage carrier from the spot where the bicycle bag should be placed. Try to estimate the spot where your foot will not hit the bike bag. The measurements are also listed under each bike bag.
    Can I protect the bike bag against theft?
    An anti-theft ring acts as a deterrent because you can secure the cycle bag to the bicycle with a lock through the ring. We also recommend that you ALWAYS secure your bicycle to a tree, fence or post.
    If I want a bike bag with a print, can I also order the bag in a different colour?
    For example, a pink bag instead of a white one under the pink flowers. Yes, that is possible. Simply mention in the comments section of your shopping cart that you would like a specific colour. You will then receive confirmation of the change by email.
    GMG Child seats and footrests
    You cannot use the footrests with a GMG child seat!
    Qibbel Child Seats
    For a Qibbel child seat, you can choose a cut-out in the middle of any bike bag. PLEASE NOTE: write in the comments that the cut-out is for the Qibbel.
    Bobike child seats and bike bags
    A Bobike child seat can almost never be combined with a large bike bag. The length of the luggage carrier measured from the footrests must be at least 38 cm. Some Mama bikes have this.
    Inner and outer dimensions of the bike bags
    This will give you an idea of what to expect:
    • The inner dimensions of the cycle bags in centimetres are: Length x depth/width x height
    • Small(S) 30 x 12 x 27
    • Large(L) 29 x 18 x 31
    • Extra Large(XL) 35 x 18 x 31
    • A XL bag can carry 8 1.5-litre bottles per side, so 16 per bag.
    • in a L 12 bottles
    • In principle, 1.5 litre bottles do not fit in a size S; these are suitable for children's bicycles or sports bicycles.
    • The single bike bags can hold half the amount of the above sizes.
    • The sizes may vary slightly as all our bags are handmade.

    Carrying capacity of the bike bag
    In principle, the panniers can carry as much as you want to take with you, but most luggage carriers are suitable for 15 to 20 kilograms of weight. For a single pannier, we recommend not loading more than 7 kilograms.

    Attaching the bike bag to the luggage carrier
    Double panniers are attached to the luggage carrier using four Velcro straps. Single panniers are secured to the luggage carrier with an additional Velcro strap, so that you cannot lose the pannier when it is empty.
